Hunter received his undergraduate degree from Auburn University and Law Degree from Northern Kentucky University.
While in law school Hunter had the opportunity to work with the Kentucky Innocence Project, a group that provides investigative and legal assistance to Kentucky prisoners with provable claims of actual innocence. He was successful in exonerating a man that was serving a 55 year sentence for a crime he did not commit. He also received the CALI Excellence For The Future Award in Constitutional Law.
Hunter is a third generation attorney as his Grandfather was Lead Counsel for Brown Forman Corporation and his father was a solo practitioner in Kentucky for over 40 years.
Currently Hunter sits on the Board of Directors of the Mental Health America of Greenville County, a non-profit organization dedicated to raising awareness of mental health issues and making mental health a priority in Greenville.
He is a member of The American Association for Justice, South Carolina Association for Justice, and the Greenville County Bar Association.

Litigation Paralegal / Office Manager
Kayla has worked for our firm since opening in 2010; however she began her legal career in 2004. Kayla often splits her roles in the office acting as our Office Manager taking care of all bookkeeping matters in the firm, but more importantly, she is our Litigation Paralegal. Her primary focus is Family Law and Probate Law. If your Personal Injury case goes into litigation, Kayla will oversee all pleadings, mediation preparation and trial work regarding your case.
Kayla was raised in Six Mile right here in the upstate where she still resides today. She is engaged to marry Brad Holtzclaw of Liberty. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her two dogs, Carli and Charlie, family, friends and her Papa, who just happens to be her next door neighbor!
Brooke has been with our firm since 2012 as our Legal Assistant. During your personal injury case, Brooke will primarily manage your case; requesting medical records and preparing other documents pertaining to your file. Brooke grew up in Powdersville where she still lives today. She is the mother of one son, Parker and during her free time, she enjoys her time with him and her Great Dane, CC.
